11/03/2010 Three Trees in the Garden

Almost two years - 13/03/2008 when we learned the terrible news. The shadow has never gone away.
I had never read any posts here last two years.
There are certain things you don't want to remember, although you will never forget.

1.

Today is has been confirmed with Mr. Marks and Oncologist Dr. Freemain at the Royal Berkshire Hospital that the shadow picked up by the CT and biopsy are the tumour tissue in the lung.

The size about a two pounds coin, Dr. Freemain made a shape with her thumb and index finger.

The one in liver was yet to be confirmed. The chance of Liver biopsy was ruled out.

'If there is a need to do surgery on liver, the surgeons at Baskingstoke won't like to have biopsy - it offers little value. And it could contaminate the organ.'

That depends on whether Danni is 'operatable'. Dr. Freemain has been very frank to say that they may not operate her if it has spread.
 
Danni was composed so well that we had a chance to discuss the potential outcome with the specialists.

Next step there will be a PET scan, which would pick up abnormal signs around the body.

One (good) situation could be Danni will undergo 2 surgeries to remove the tumours/abnormal tissue from lung and liver in next three months, if PET scan doesn't found any more abnormal sign.

2 or less is a good number.

2.
We had a stroll in the park before went to pick up Ryan.

3.
Ryan has been so brave today to see dentist with us before went to nursery.

He came out with a Thmas the Tank Engine badge and a spider-man sticker, which really had made his mates in the nursery eyes popped.

Ryan has been complaining tongue sore and watery, itching eyes and scratchy skins last few day.

Dentist said he missed a tooth, so that could be one reason he was complaining.

The blister on the tongue is now gone.

Was trying to speak to NHS direct concerning it could hey fever gave Ryan stuffing nostril and watery eyes. However, they insisted to speak to the carers which sitting Ryan.

It turned out that Ryan wasn't complaining mouth or watery eyes.

He ate well (a lot, just like typical him) and was jolly and active as ever. 

4.
We check the apple trees we planted two weeks ago. Buds started to show.

Ryan watered them, although he was more interesting in saving the water to put out the 'fire of London'.
He poured the water to the burnt circle left by when I set bonfire to the overgrown nettles two weeks ago,

It was a great fire, forming column of white and grey smoke into the sky.
